Small Projects
From small renovation projects to whole home renovations and new construction, SK Sawyer brings a thoughtful and experienced approach to our clients' projects. Below are some of the fun smaller projects we've taken on.
Nursery

Natick
This was a bedroom converted to a nursery. The existing closet had a rough "popcorn spray" textured finish that had to be removed. The final product had a combination of MDF and pine wainscotting, custom milled casings, and recessed lighting. The closet featured hardwood flooring and a custom/adjustable Elfa closet system.
Half Bath -
Natick
This was a whimsical take for a half bath that serviced guests as well as the in-ground pool on the property. A louvered-door closet for linens and pool supplies was added, as well as porcelain tile, chair rail, and wallpaper.
Playhouse - Arlington
This was a creative and fun re-imagination of a backyard space. A rear driveway was shortened to expand the yard. Several yards of loam were brought in, compacted and seeded to correct a steep existing grade. A clubhouse with a monkey-bar/swing/ninja course attachments was built, leading to a year-round, weather-resistant playspace.
Media Wall -
Natick
This media wall was built from a concept sketch done by the homeowner. It had to conceal a horizontal flue pipe running to the chimney, and the finished product did that very well!
The project also featured a Dolby 5.1 home theater system, built-in bookcases with glass shelves, mirror backs, and dimmable halogen puck lighting.
Potting Shed - Falmouth
This was formerly a neglected shed that received a fun facelift and became a charming little potting shed. It later received lighting, hardware, and landscpaing.
